Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan, two Australians sentenced to death for smuggling drugs in Indonesia, are confirmed to be executed according to the Indonesian attorney general. Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop expressed her dismay at the Indonesian government for carrying out this execution despite Australian Prime Minister Abbott’s plea to Indonesian President Joko Widodo for reconsideration.
