Opinion & SATIRE

Showcasing Diversity of Thought

There is nothing that shapes the political landscape more than ideas. Our identities, perspectives, and backgrounds all reflect the way we digest and understand world events as they happen around us. The Caravel’s Opinion section hopes to create an open platform for a more in-depth exploration of identities and ideas, with all the nuances they carry, by sourcing opinions from passionate students, faculty, and everyone in between. As opinions are representative of different perspectives, they cannot be restricted to one lens. The Opinion section encourages all forms of discourse, including creative expression such as satire and cartooning.
