Illuminating Intersections

Compass Gender transcends regional and political boundaries to spotlight the triumphs and struggles of women and LGBTQ+ populations around the world. Beyond the mass movements and legislative leaps that make national headlines, Compass Gender aims to examine the realities of life for marginalized communities and the political, economic, and social shifts that reshape or reinforce them. In addition to covering strides and setbacks overtly tied to gender and sexuality, Compass Gender seeks to highlight the intersectional dimensions of global events. Through its emphasis on diverse and insightful coverage, Compass Gender offers readers a nuanced look at the lesser-known experiences of marginalized communities worldwide.
