Madison is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences studying History, English, and Russian. She originally joined the Caravel as a writer covering Eastern Europe & Central Asia (EECA) before serving as Copy Chief and Executive Editor. In her spare time, she enjoys taking long walks, doing crossword puzzles, and finding new books to read. She is from Queens, New York.
Kuzma Shepelev Editor-in-Chief
Kuzma is a senior in the School of Foreign service studying International Political Economy and Russian. He joined the Caravel during his first year at Georgetown as a writer for the Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) section before becoming the section’s editor. Kuzma grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys cooking, motorcycling, and reading in his free time.

Gabriel is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Government and Economics. He joined the Caravel as a writer for Compass World and Compass Elections in his freshman year. He is from New York City and enjoys reading and playing board games and tennis in his spare time.

Alex is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service studying Regional and Comparative Studies. He joined the Caravel as a writer for the Indo-Asia-Pacific region (IAP) during his freshman year, and currently serves as its Editor. Alex enjoys practicing the clarinet, playing board games, and spending time with rabbits on the Hilltop. He is from Sacramento, California.
