Bangladesh - February 3rd

A bus travelling through Bangladesh's Chouddagram village erupted in flames after arsonists threw petrol bombs at the vehicle, killing seven and injuring several others. The attack follows a nation-wide blockade instituted by one of Bangladesh's main opposition parties. Arson and similar acts of destruction, possibly related to the mounting political tension, have increased in the last month, with the current death toll reaching over 50 people.
