Belgium - Dec 5

Belgium’s former queen Fabiola has died at the age of eighty-six at the Stuyvenburg Castle in Brussels. The queen reigned as Queen Consort of Belgium from 1960 to 1993, when her husband, King Baudouin, passed away suddenly. Although she mostly withdrew from the public eye after his death, there was a scandal in 2012 regarding her allowance, which was subsequently reduced.
