Chile and Peru-Mar 7

President Ollanta Humela recalled Peru’s ambassador to Chile this week due to Chile's failure to provide adequate responses to accusations of espionage. Chile’s foreign Minister responded by reminding the country that although he hopes to welcome the Peruvian ambassador back, “this is a decision left completely to Peru”, and reiterated that Chilie does not support espionage in any form. Chile is accused of having bribed members of the Peruvian Navy for military secrets. Source: La Tercera
