France – Feb 3
Two French soldiers were lightly wounded after a knife attack in Nice. The two men, along with one other soldier, were patrolling a central square where a Jewish community center and radio station are located, leading officials to believe that the attack had anti–Semitic motivations. The assailant, who has been arrested, has the same Malian surname as one of the attackers who killed four people in a Jewish supermarket in Paris earlier this year.
