Georgia - Nov 11

On November 11, Georgia’s new foreign minister, diplomat Tamar Beruchashvili, accepted the new position after she resigned six days prior in what she calls an “emotional misunderstanding.” After the dismissal of Georgia’s pro-Western defense minister, Beruchasvili stepped down temporarily as deputy foreign minister because of her “suspicion” of a future change in Georgia’s foreign policy. Georgia is currently seeking solutions to join NATO and the European Union without infuriating Russia. Source: Reuters
