Guatemala - Mar 2

Vice President Biden is visiting Guatemala this week. He is scheduled to meet with the Presidents of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, along with the President of the Inter-American Development Bank. The purpose of this trip is to offer assistance and outline concrete goals to stimulate economic growth, combat corruption, target criminal networks, and reduce inequality within these Central American countries. $1 billion dollars has been requested from Congress in order to assist these countries in making the necessary changes to their current infrastructure.
