Italy & Luxembourg - Oct 24

Italy’s supreme court has cleared Dolce & Gabbana founders, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, of charges of tax evasion. Originally convicted in June 2013, an appeals court upheld the original guilty verdict for failing to declare €200 million in tax through the use of a shell company based in Luxembourg during 2004 and 2005. The Italian court annulled the original conviction for a jail sentence of up to two years due to “unfounded” prosecution.
