Japan - Feb 3
At the newly launched terrorism task force within the Japanese Prime Minister's office, Finance Minister Aso Taro held a talk with financial institutions on how to prevent the flow of funds to terrorists, in response to the killing of Japanese hostages by ISIS. Aso will be attending G-20 discussions in Istanbul next Monday. Since recent terrorist organizations spread out around the globe, countries are having a difficult time pinning down targets. Therefore, the main topic of discussion at the G-20 talks will be the creation of a better framework for sharing information on terrorism financing. Source: Nikkei Asian Review
