Jordan - Feb. 3

Jordan Vows Response to Pilot Killing The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) recently released a graphic video depicting the immolation of Muath al-Kasasbeh, a Jordan Armed Force-Arab Army (JAF) pilot who had been captured in December when his F-16 was shot down over Syria. In response to the murder, Jordan’s King Abdullah announced that the “Jordanians’ wrath will devastate Daesh’s [ISIS'] ranks.” The king held an unscheduled meeting with President Obama on the matter before departing Washington early on February 3 to return to Jordan.
