Kenya - February 14
The Catholic Church in Kenya accused the Kenyan government of administrating tetanus vaccines laced with anti-pregnancy hormone that may have caused sterilization in up to 500,000 Kenyan females. The vaccine in question was mandated by the Kenyan parliament and funded by the World Health Organization for use on~2.3 million child-bearing women against tetanus. A report that the Church is citing has evidence that 30% of the vials contained beta HCG, the hormone in question which causes early miscarriages in women. Source: All Africa
