The Mexican Congress finally passed an anti-corruption bill that has been discussed for two years. The bill would strengthen the checks and balances within the government structure and make individuals more accountable for their actions. Also, with this bill, the Anti-corruption prosecutor is being placed under the supervision of the Attorney General. This bill comes at a time when many people are accusing President Peña-Nieto and his advisers of corruption. Source: El País
