A UN Counter-Terrorism Committee meeting was convened at the UN Headquarters in New York to provide Morocco with a platform to explain its counter-terrorism policies within the context of Islam. Theirs is a preventative measure that seeks to ground religious teaching in an ethic of moderation that is at the heart of Islam.
