The main opposition party in Mozambique, RENAMO, has come out fiercely against the results of the recent election. According to results from a sample of the votes, Filip Nyusi, the candidate from the ruling party FRELIMO, won 63% of the votes, defeating RENAMO's Afonso Dhlakama. After the elections on Wednesday, there were sporadic cases of rioting, but so far, no major cases of violence have been reported. Source: BBC
