Punjab Province's Chief Minister lauded the progress made in fighting terrorism under Pakistan's National Action Plan. With joint cooperation between the Pakistani army, local law enforcement, and regional/national governments, the national action plan organizes and recommends various anti-terrorism measures from regular military exercises to legal reform. It was created and implemented after the surprise terrorist attack in Peshawar Province left over 130 schoolchildren dead.
