Spain - Mar 31
Spain’s Popular Party government has decided to return the right to free primary healthcare services to illegal immigrants living in Spain. Immigrants lost this benefit in 2012 when it was replaced by general care limited to minors, pregnant women, and emergency cases. The government is reversing its earlier decision because providing healthcare to all of Spain's inhabitants healthcare is “more practical” for public health reasons. The repeal of prescription medicine co-payment for immigrants, however, is not on the agenda. Source: El Pais
