The Swedish army announced recently that it is likely that foreign underwater activity has been occurring in the Stockholm archipelago, after receiving a credible tip that Russian submarines were in the area. The search for these vessels, which began October 17 and includes the mobilization of Swedish navy ships and helicopters, is the largest such operation in recent history.
