Syria - Mar 24

Islamic States militants in Syria will soon face a new adversary: Canadian air strikes. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced an expansion of his country's air strike program earlier this week, making Canada the first NATO country after the United States to authorize attacks on IS forces in Syria. Other countries that have taken part in the campaign against IS include Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Canada has also sent forces to the Kurdish region of Iraq to help train forces to fight Islamic State militants. Source: BBC News
