UK - Oct 22
A recent British poll showed a 23-year high in support for remaining in the EU despite raising popularity for the UK Independency Party (UKIP) and a push by the Conservative party to call its membership into question. The poll by Ipsos MORI showed that 56% of those surveyed would prefer to remain in the EU, compared to 36% against membership. Among Conservative supporters, just over half of Conservative supporters favoured staying in the EU.
