Ukraine - 31 January
The international community has been so focused on the civil war in Ukraine that few people have taken notice of another major conflict in the region: Azerbaijan and Armenia continue to fight after weeks of an intense, renewed battle over the Azerbaijani region of Nargono-Karakbah. Baku claims that it has shot down an Armenian drone, but spectators are skeptical. While the Minsk Group has been attempting to mediate the situation, a solution is not yet in sight.
