Yemen - Feb 1

In September 2014, a Shia rebel group known as the Houthis took control of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. On January 22, Yemeni President Hadi, his prime minister and his cabinet all resigned amid the crisis. The Houthis have set a three-day deadline, starting on February 1st for the remaining government workers and factions to form a coherent setup, or they will take over. As of February 3rd, no resolution has been reached. Most groups are refusing to give into intimidation and it is unlikely an agreement will be rendered. Source: Al Jazeera 1 | Al Jazeera 2
