Zimbabwe - Feb 21
On February 20th, the European Union renewed its sanctions on President Mugabe of Zimbabwe. In its official journal, the EU attributed the continuation of its sanctions until February 20th, 2016 to its findings after “taking into account political developments in Zimbabwe.” This follows Zimbabwe’s recently improved relations with many members of the EU, such as France, Britain and Denmark, which have all sent delegations to the Southern African country recently.
