A purported technical glitch suspended a live broadcast of the drawing of a major national lottery on Sunday night. The China Welfare Lottery then posted the results of the drawing online after two hours and then broadcast a recorded broadcast of the drawing two hours after that. Weibo users have cried foul over the drawing and have alleged that the lottery had rigged the draw. The first prize for the lottery would have been up to 500 million RMB. The incident follows a long string of lottery draws since 2009 that have suffered from various technical glitches. Source: Sina 1 | Sina 2 | BBC | Market Watch
