On October 14th, 2014, the Chinese premier Li Keqiang met with the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in Rome to sign business agreements worth more than 8 billion euros (>10 billion USD). These deals presented by a Chinese-Italian committee of entrepreneurs, which was founded four months ago. The deals comprise of technological and financial cooperation, with a focus on the entrepreneurs from each country.
