China, Pakistan - Feb 13

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang met with the Pakistani President Hussain in Islamabad. President Hussain called China as Pakistan’s closest brother and expressed its full support for Chinese policy in Tibet and Taiwan. Pakistan promised to strengthen its anti-terrorism operations, and asked China to continue its aid in infrastructure development. Echoing Hussain’s remarks, Wang responded with China’s commitment to cooperation with Pakistan in economy and military strategy. Wang also delivered President Xi’s wish to visit Pakistan this year.
