EU - Dec 9

A deal has been reached on the European Union’s 2015 budget, with a spending total at €141.2 billion ($173.5 billion), with farm subsidies and support for the Union’s least developed regions as the biggest spending area. Although some MEP’s pushed for the EU to pay off all outstanding bills, which include some funding for laboratories and student grants and total around €30 billion, it does not appear that this will occur in 2015.
