France - Feb 6

Following last month’s attacks in Paris, French authorities have banned the filming of action movie sequences in the capital.  The use of pyrotechnics and fake weapons is also restricted.  Authorities are concerned that film sets pose targets for terrorists and could easily confuse the already hypersensitive public.  Throughout Paris, armed police are still on higher alert and are guarding vulnerable sites.  It remains unclear whether this ban will significantly impact American productions.
