India- March 5th

Although India's Daughter, a BBC documentary about the 2012 Delhi gang rape, was banned from airing by India's high court, both the BBC and several Youtubers have broadcasted or uploaded the video in an act of defiance. While the Indian government attempts to track down individual uploaders of the video and remove any links, full versions of the film are still available online. The documentary highlights sexual assault and broader issues of women's rights and security throughout India. (The Hindu)
