Israel - Mar 18
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s party, Likud, won a plurality of seats in Israel's parliamentary elections on Tuesday. The result will most likely allow Netanyahu to win a fourth term as Prime Minister. Likud won 30 of the 120 seats in parliament, and Netanyahu is already negotiating with other right-learning parties to form a coalition that would give him a majority. Netanyahu’s campaign had promised in the last few days before the election that there would never be a Palestinian state under his leadership. Source: The New York Times
