Tunisia - Mar 18
An attack at the National Bardo Museum in the capital of Tunisia killed 17 foreign tourists and two Tunisians this week. Some were killed while entering the museum, while others were executed as hostages. No group has taken responsibility for the attack, and the identity, nationality and motivation of the attackers has not been confirmed. The event comes at a time when many Tunisians are leaving the country to fight for ISIS, even though the country has been praised as a successful transitioning democracy post-Arab Spring.
