Simone Gbagdo, former first lady of the Ivory Coast, is facing charges of undermining state security at trial in Adibjan. She has denied wrongdoing for the violence that ensued after the 2010 election and also supports her husband as the legitimate winner of the elections. Her husband awaits trial at the ICC.
