Luxembourg, EU - Nov 18

Jean-Claude Juncker will face a censure vote in the European Parliament to declare him unfit for his position as president of the European Commission, due to his alleged role in turning Luxembourg into Europe’s biggest tax haven while its Prime Minister. The motion has been backed by 76 MEPs, including the UK Independence Party and the National Front in France. The motion is considered unlikely to succeed, yet if passed it means the Commission would have to resign.
