Another Crimea? Last week, Russia carried out military exercises in the Moldovan region of Transnestia. This would not be as concerning if the territory did not have a majority population of ethnic Russians and if there had been no previous Russian maneuvers in the region. The international community is worried that Russia once again is attempting to expand its sphere of influence in the same way it tried in Crimea. Source: WSJ
