Nepal - Oct 3

Nepal's largest festival, Dashain, is under way this week as workers took time off to celebrate with their families. The President and Prime Minister of Nepal have both received Tika and blessings. Originally, the king used to offer Dashain blessings to the public, but since he was deposed in 2008, the President offers tika to the public and continues the tradition of heads of state blessing the public during this festival.
