Nigeria - June 19th, 2014

Nigeria has ended its "war" on newspaper circulation and returned publications to the newsstand. The military restricted access to newspapers for five days and it is rumored that some newspapers are considering legal action against the military and are being urged to do so by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC). The restriction was hardest on three daily newspapers that were intercepted by the military at a check point and searched at a distribution center by soldiers. http://allafrica.com/stories/201406110436.html
