The Russian federal highway agency "Taman" and the major Russian construction company "Stroigazmontag" signed a deal on Tuesday for the creation of a bridge over the Kerch Strait between Russia and Crimea.  The bridge is expected to cost approximately 228,3 billion rubles, consisting of a four lane highway as well as two lanes of railways.  The significance of the deal is that with the creation of a contract for this bridge, modeling for the project can begin, which will subsequently lead to its construction.
