Spain - Nov 7
Spain’s high court in Palma de Mallorca ruled unanimously on November 7 to uphold tax fraud charges brought against Spanish King Felipe VI’s sister, Cristina de Borbón. The “infanta” was, however, cleared of money laundering allegations. The trial would likely occur in 2016; however, because neither the public prosecutor nor the State’s Attorney’s Office considers her guilty of an offense, the case may be dropped.
