Sweden - Feb 27

Swedish authorities have sentenced a former Syrian rebel fighter to five years in prison for a "torture-like" assault in Syria after he reportedly attacked an enemy who was defenseless, an action considered a war crime in Sweden. Mouhannad Droubi, 28, fought with the Free Syrian Army and was granted residency in Sweden in 2013 but was later arrested after police received a copy of the video of the incident.
