Thailand - Feb 26

In the face of international demands for action on the country’s appalling illegal ivory trade, Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has vowed to enforce stricter regulations. His actions will hopefully prevent the implementation of international trade sanction against his country. By imposing heavy fines on smugglers and forbidding tourists from leaving the country with ivory items, Prayut has vowed to overcome the problem.
