Thailand - Oct 14
Gen. Prayuth Chan-Ocha, Thailand's Prime Minister, rejected help from the UK to investigate the recent murder of two British nationals in Thailand, calling it "an internal problem". Thai police claim that two Burmese migrant workers were responsible for the killings. The international community is skeptical, however, as allegations of torture of the suspects have tarnished the arrests. In the past, Thai police have been known to blame crimes on migrant workers.
