Turkey - Oct 14
Members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) are furious over Turkey’s decision not to supply aid to Syria, which is currently facing attacks from Islamic State militants. Following PKK’s assault on a military outpost, the Turkish government led air strikes with F-16 and F-4 warplanes on PKK positions located in the village of Daglica. This is the first major air strike since PKK and Turkey’s truce in March 2013, and Kurdish rebels suffered severe casualties. Source: BBC
