Cameroon - Jan 19

In one of the group’s largest abductions outside of Nigeria, Boko Haram abducted up to 80 people in the villages of Maki and Mada in Cameroon over the weekend. At least 24 of those hostages are reported to be free, some having fled their attackers while others were released while the group was heading back into Nigeria, however, local officials believe many of those still missing to be women and children.
