Palestine - Jan 13

A U.S. trial began Tuesday over the role of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Palestinian Authority in six attacks in Israel from 2002 to 2004 that killed 33 people. The defendants are being charged for six shootings and bombings in the Jerusalem area from 2002 to 2004. This brings a new persepctive on the Middle East conflict. If proven, then the PLO/PA have funded attacks against civilians in the country. However, defesive attorneys have argued that an entire government can not be held liable for the actions of small, non-state actors. Source: Reuters
