China, Argentina - Feb 09
During Argentinian President Kirchner’s visit to Beijing, China and Argentina signed 15 agreements including collaboration on building two pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. According to the agreement, China will cover 12.8 billion dollars, the total cost of of the project if Argentina utilizes Chinese nuclear power technology. Both parties also agreed to appoint China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) to execute this project. Under this condition, CNNC will oversee the entire process from design to construction and fuel treatment. Source: China Daily
