Wang Yi, the Foreign Minister of China and the president of the UN Security Council (UNSC), urged all nations to pursue cooperation instead of zero-sum confrontation in an address at the open debate of the UNSC. He emphasized illegitimacy of unilateral measures that bypass the UNSC and stated that upholding the UN principles is the only path to peace.
