India - Feb 10-11

The surprise election of Indian left-wing party Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi on Tuesday is widely seen as proof of the discontent with Narendra Modi's policies. The Aam Aadmi Party beat out Modi's own right-wing nationalist party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with an anti-corruption platform. Over 96% of Delhi voters picked the AAP, meaning that the Delhi Congress will now have 67 out of 70 seats controlled by the AAP.
