Indonesia - March 17

On Tuesday, Indonesian search and rescue teams ended the hunt for victims from last year’s Flight QZ8501 AirAsia plane. The incident has sparked off a huge international search effort, with ships and aircraft from several nations. The decision to end the search came after AirAsia owner Tony Fernandes signaled that the “successful operation could not go on indefinitely.” The Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee has shed little light on the causes of the plane crash thus far.
